Market & Vendor Rules & Policies

Join us for the inaugural Red’s Fall Fest, an autumnal celebration bringing the community together and honoring the life and legacy of our founder, Brian “Farmer Red” Harrison. We will gather to celebrate the preservation of Red’s Farm, enjoy live music and games, and support local businesses and artisans.

Festival Hours

Vendors must set up and remain open during the event on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Load-in begins at 1:30 p.m. and breakdown at 6:00 p.m.

Who can become a vendor?

  • Artist Market Vendors: Vendors who sell handcrafted items are welcome. Products must designed and handcrafted by you.

  • Food & Beverage Vendors: All vendors with a valid certificate of liability/proof of insurance are welcome.

Where do vendors set up at the farm?

Market vendors will setup near the greenhouse under the big oak tree. Exact setup locations will be provided one week before the festival. Day-of volunteers will do their best to assist with setup if needed.

FAQs

To be considered for the 2024 Red’s Fall Fest, please complete the online application in full. This includes submitting your booth fee ($75 for Artist Market, $95 for Food carts/tents). Incomplete applications will not be considered. Your fee will be returned if you are not selected. The application deadline is October 25th, 2024. Any cancellations must be requested by October 15th, 2024.

  • Payment should be made at the time of application. Your payment will be refunded if you are not selected.

  • Your festival fee includes:

    • Market Vendors: A 10x10 footprint for your booth space and at least one promotion on the Urban Farm in Ormewood Facebook and Instagram social media outlets.

    • Food and Beverage Vendors: Space for your food cart or tent and at least one promotion on the Urban Farm in Ormewood Facebook and Instagram social media outlets.

    Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, table, chairs, and other supplies. We cannot provide power to vendors at this event.

  • Once accepted, you grant Urban Farm in Ormewood to use photos submitted in your application for promotional purposes, both online and in print.

  • Vendors will receive load-in and setup information one week prior to the festival. Failure to adhere to the load-in schedule may result in forfeiture of your space without a refund.

  • All vendors must adhere to the following rules to ensure a safe, clean, well-regulated, and attractive festival:

    General Rules and Regulations:

    • Vendors must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and in-tent lighting

    • Space is limited to vendors with a valid certificate of liability/proof of insurance

    • The Urban Farm in Ormewood festival committee reserves the right to refuse space if the product or booth area is inconsistent with the character of the event

    • All exhibits must be designed, constructed, and operated in good taste and with public safety in mind. The Festival reserves the right to prohibit or restrict exhibits that are objectionable due to noise, operation, materials, or other reasons. No refunds will be given if restrictions are imposed

    • Carnival tactics, public address systems, or similar activities are not allowed

    • Vendors may not sublease their space or display third-party advertising or signage

    • Decorations must not be fastened to neighborhood infrastructure, trees, or fixtures

    • The use or distribution of adhesive-backed decals, stickers, helium balloons, glitter, and confetti is prohibited

    • Motorized vehicles (forklifts, carts, bicycles, scooters, etc.) are not allowed within the event venue

    • Flyers, brochures, or other advertising materials must be confined to the exhibit area and not displayed in common areas or walk paths

    • Vendors are responsible for maintaining sanitation within their booths and disposing of trash in designated receptacles. Booths must be cleaned of all debris at the event’s conclusion

    • Urban Farm in Ormewood is not responsible or liable for damages including but not limited to loss suffered before, during, or after the event as a result of the display of Vendor’s work, equipment, or material

    • There are no refunds or rain checks due to inclement weather

    • If Urban Farm in Ormewood's guidelines are not upheld, Vendor’s space will be closed immediately, and funds will not be refunded

    Market Specific Rules:

    • Artist booths must remain within a 10x10 space

    • Space is limited to vendors who sell only self-produced artwork and products

    Food & Beverage Vendor Specific Rules:

    • Vendors must furnish their own tent, tables, chairs, and in-tent lighting, and other supplies to meet all Food Service Rules and Regulations required by the Georgia Department of Public Health, Fulton County Health Department, and other applicable ordinances for Outdoor Events

    • Vendors must adhere to all applicable food service laws, including but not limited to, the Georgia Department of Public Health Food Service Rules and Regulations and O.C.G.A. Title 26, Chapter 2, Article 14

    • Vendors requiring potable water for cooking or washing dishes must bring their own supply.

POLICIES

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:

By submitting application materials and signing this Agreement, Vendor agrees to hold Red’s Fall Fest, Urban Farm in Ormewood, its Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, The Conservation Fund, and the City of Atlanta harmless for any and all losses, expenses, demands, and claims against the Festival sustained or alleged to have been related to Red’s Fall Fest. Vendor acknowledges that Red’s Fall Fest, its Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, The Conservation Fund, and the City of Atlanta are not responsible for any personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss of property that may occur during the Festival. Vendor further certifies that Vendor and Vendor property, equipment, and vehicles are properly insured for any losses incurred and/or damages caused by Vendor or any party. Vendor also agrees to comply with all applicable food service laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Georgia Department of Public Health Food Service Rules and Regulations and O.C.G.A. Title 26, Chapter 2, Article 14.

Incorporation and Modification – This document includes all components of the agreement of the parties and is fully incorporated herein. The Application materials provided by the vendor to Red’s Fall Fest are incorporated herein by reference. No other promises made prior to the execution of this agreement have been omitted. The parties may mutually agree to modify this agreement only by signed written agreement. No oral modification or agreement outside the scope of this agreement is binding.

No Agency, Partnership, or Joint Venture Created – This Vendor is an independent operator, and no agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship is created by the Red’s Fall Fest. The Vendor, its owners, employees, or other agents shall not represent themselves as representatives of the Red’s Fall Fest. Vendor shall not enter into any contract or agreement that would cause Red’s Fall Fest to be liable in any way. Vendor shall hold Red’s Fall Fest harmless from any cost or liability it may incur with the production of merchandise.

WEATHER:

Red’s Fall Fest is an outdoor rain-or-shine event. Red’s Fall Fest makes no guarantees regarding actual festival attendance or potential financial success. The Vendor agrees that in the event of acts of God, storms, floods, high winds, gales, or hurricanes, neither the Festival nor any of its employees or agents are responsible for loss, damage, third-party damages, claims, or loss to property, persons, or vessels. It is the Event Management’s sole discretion to order an evacuation of the Event or take necessary steps to protect public health and property in the event of an act of God or severe weather warning. The Festival shall have no liability for any damage resulting from storm, wind, water, or other acts of God, or imminent threat thereof, nor from fire, strikes, or lockouts.

Cancellation:

Prior to October 15, 2024, booth fee refunds may be requested via our Contact Form. After October 15, 2024, no refunds are granted.

By completing your application, you acknowledge receipt of and acceptance of the Vendor Rules and Policies as contained in this application.

About the Organizers

Red’s Fall Fest is brought to you by Urban Farm in Ormewood, Inc. (UFO), in collaboration with The Conservation Fund and our Ormewood Park community. This inaugural festival marks the beginning of a new tradition for Ormewood Park neighbors. Your participation and attendance will help support UFO, Inc.'s mission of conserving the greenspace, expanding our garden program, and ensure that Red’s Farm continues to be a welcoming nature preserve for all of our neighbors to enjoy.

Proceeds from the event will support UFO, Inc.'s ongoing conservation efforts, ensuring that Red’s Farm remains a treasured space for years to come. Starting in 2025, UFO, Inc. will collaborate with the City of Atlanta to manage and advocate for Red’s Farm Preserve as the first-of-its-kind city-owned urban farm.
