UFO is a neighbor-led grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization here to represent our local community and advocate for the preservation and stewardship of Red’s Farm Preserve.

Our Mission: Urban Farm in Ormewood, Inc. (UFO) is dedicated to stewarding our vibrant urban greenspace and supporting the health and well-being of our local Atlanta community by cultivating a space for wildlife conservation, regenerative gardening, and nature education.

Our strategic goals focus on:

  1. Ecological Diversity & Preservation: Prioritizing habitat area conservation, maintenance, and regeneration to protect and enhance biodiversity.

  2. Community Well-being: Provide access to a beautiful greenspace to promote community health, well-being, and social connection.

  3. Regenerative Gardening: Host area community members to gather, learn, and grow together through our programs and events focused on regenerative gardening.

  4. Organizational Capacity Building: Develop our ability to serve our community for long-term financial sustainability and capacity-building opportunities.
