In this demo, our resident beekeeper will guide participants through the basics of beekeeping and why bees are essential to our work here at UFO. Observers will learn about the necessary equipment for tending bees, the classic Langstroth hive setup, and how colonies operate, build, and sustain themselves. No materials are necessary to join this demonstration.
